The packaging is typically multi-layered, including a plastic outer layer, an aluminum foil middle layer, and a plastic inner layer for durability and heat resistance. 

Shelf stability:

Retort-packaged food does not require refrigeration till its opened and can stay fresh for extended periods (12-18 months) without preservatives. 

Convenience:

Ready-to-eat meals are convenient for pet owners, especially those with busy schedules or limited storage space.

Unopened pouches: Store unopened pouches in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Opened pouches: Consume opened pouches within 24 hours and store them in the refrigerator. 

The retort process effectively eliminates harmful bacteria, making it a safe way to preserve food.

Sudden changes in your dog’s diet can lead to digestive issues like vomiting, diarrhoea, or reduced appetite. To help your dog adjust smoothly, it’s important to introduce new food slowly over several days. A gradual transition, ideally over 5 to 7 days, allows your dog’s digestive system to adapt. Start by mixing a small amount of the new food with their current food, gradually increasing the proportion of the new food each day. For many dogs, a smooth transition follows a schedule similar to this:

In case this happens, just write an email to woof@furrberry.pet stating your order details along with your registered mobile number. We will also refund the amount for the opened pack (upto 1). The refund policy can be used within 7 days of the order.

• Our fresh meals don’t require refrigeration before opening. They’re sealed using advanced retort packaging technology—the same method used for space food—which keeps the meals fresh and safe for up to one year without preservatives or cold storage.
• Store the unopened packs in a cool, dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight.
• You can serve the food straight from the pack, but if your dog prefers warm meals, just pop the pouch in the microwave—it’s microwave-safe and the aroma is irresistible to picky eaters!

Once opened, the food should be used immediately. If needed, an open pack can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
